Bonner, Charlotte R. February 17, 1946 - November 22, 2018

Charlotte Ruth Trivitt was born February 17, 1946 to Carl and Eunice Trivitt in Howard’s Ridge, Missouri. Charlotte graduated from Gainesville High School in May 1963. She met Melvin Bonner at a cattle sale she attended with her dad in West Plains, Missouri. She married Melvin Bonner on August 22, 1963. Charlotte and Melvin moved to Independence, Missouri. Charlotte and Melvin were blessed with two sons, Steven Ray Bonner and Stanley Ross Bonner. In 1976 Charlotte and Melvin moved their family to Blue Springs, Missouri.

She was employed at Duffens Optical in Merriam, Kansas for 17 years before moving to Lowry City, Missouri. Charlotte became a CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) and worked at Clinton Health Care and Rehabilitation Center in Clinton Missouri. Later, she worked at Truman Lake Manor Nursing Home in Lowry City, Missouri until April 2016.

In April 2016, Charlotte was paralyzed from the waist down from a spinal infection. She lived the remaining years of her life at Truman Lake Manor in Lowry City, Missouri. Charlotte was diagnosed with cancer in August 2018. She passed away on November 22, 2018.

Charlotte was a loving mother and grandmother who enjoyed crocheting, embroidering, and gardening. She was a hard worker who enjoyed caring for others. She will be greatly missed by everyone whose life she touched.

She was preceded in death by her parents Carl and Eunice Trivitt, a brother Melvin Trivitt, a sister Cleta June Trivitt, and her husband Melvin Bonner.

Charlotte is survived by her sons Steven and wife Kimberly Bonner of Kearney Missouri and Stanley and wife Alice Bonner of Excelsior Springs Missouri, three grandchildren, Derick and wife Kerri Bonner of Trimble Missouri, Kourtney Bonner of Trimble Missouri, and Emily Bonner of Kearney Missouri, a nephew Wade and wife Tami Trivitt of Springfield Missouri, 3 nieces Debbie and husband Dennis Morrissey of Springfield Missouri, Denise and husband Don Murphy of Ozark Missouri, and Deanna Crocker of Nixa Missouri, 4 sisters- in- law Martha Trivitt of Springfield Missouri, Mary Bonner of Gladstone Missouri, Linda Bonner of Kansas City Missouri, Connie Rigg of Kansas City Missouri, and Joanne Nelson of Raytown Missouri, and 2 brothers-in-law Jerry Bonner and Roger Bonner of Lowry City Missouri. She is survived by many nieces and nephews on the Bonner side of the family. Charlotte also leaves behind many friends she made throughout her life.
