Charles Leslie Broan was born October 27, 1962 in St. Louis, Missouri to Bernard Brogan, Sr. and Ethelyn McCoy Brogan. He passed away on March 24, 2013 at his home near Weaubleau, Mo. Charley was the youngest of 7 children and always the goofball in the family, trying to make people laugh. He loved doing crafts of various kinds and was good at everything he did. Charley was a wonderful brother, son, father and uncle. He was a very loving and kind hearted person. He suffered from an accident as a toddler, which left him forever young. Charley struggled with his handicap, but always looked at the bright side of things. He was very loyal and loving to all of his family, friends and his country. Charley was a veteran of the United States Army. Charley was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in April of 2012 and went through chemotherapy for a while and it seemed to only make things worse, so he decieded to just put it in God’s hands. He finally lost the battle on March 24, 2013 and went home to be with the Lord peacefully in his sleep. He was preceded in death by his Father and one brother. Charley is survived by his mother, Ethelyn Brogan; 1 daughter, Mikala; 3 sister, 2 brothers and many nieces, nephews and several friends.
