Brenda Deanne Collins was born August 1, 1953 in Clinton, Missouri to Billy and Mary Francis Perry Murray. She passed away February 1, 2019 at her home in Clinton, Missouri surrounded by her family.
She attended school in Lee’s Summit, Missouri and Lowry City, Missouri graduating in 1971 from Lowry City High School.
On June 2, 1994 she was united in marriage to James L. Collins in Miami, Oklahoma. They spent the majority of their married life in Clinton, Missouri. Theirs was an especially strong union. They loved being together and were very seldom separated.
Brenda loved working in the nursing healthcare field. She was the dietary supervisor and loved driving the homes transportation bus for the Westwood Nursing Center.
She was a very avid bowler and travelled to many tournaments. She was especially proud of her grandchildren.
Brenda was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Mary Jo Salisbury and one brother, Bill Murray.
She is survived by her husband of 48 years, James L. Collins, of the home; two sons, James “Willie” Collins and Scott Collins; one daughter, Brandi (Chad) Anders; one sister, Cecily; five grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Cauy, Bryce, Mikel and Matthew; a beloved daughter-in-law, Rebecca Zink, other relatives and many friends.
