Debra Faye Cowell was born September 23, 1954 to Grover Stambaugh and Margaret (Parker) Stambaugh in Indianapolis, Indiana. She passed away at the home of her beloved sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Ray and Anita Foster near Roscoe, Missouri August 4, 2017.
She was raised in New Whiteland, Indiana and spent most of her adult life in Missouri. She was united in marriage to Vonnon Cowell June 2, 1990 and to this union they combined 2 daughters and 2 sons.
Debbie loved the Roscoe area and the outdoor opportunities that it offered. She also loved spending quality time with her family. Debbie and Von enjoyed traveling in their motorhome during the last year and a half. She was well known for her great sense of humor.
She was preceded in death by her father Grover Stambaugh, brother, Richard Stambaugh.
Debbie is survived by 2 daughters, Angela Coe Ross and Amy Coe Zuber and 2 step sons, Dan Cowell and David Cowell and extended family Darrell and Kristin DeRuiter. 9 grandchildren, Brian and Preston Ross, Emily, Kaylee and Chloe Zuber, Liam ,Allie and Varick Cowell and Linnea DeRuiter. Sisters, Carol and husband Jerry Dingess brother, Grover Stambaugh and mother, Margaret Stambaugh along with other relatives and many friends.
