Ethel Oneita Creek passed away Monday September 12, 2011 at Sac-Osage Hospital in Osceola, Missouri. She was born March 16, 1913 to George Franklin and Lee Nora Wagner.
She is survived by son Billy Wayne Creek and wife Annie, their children Jaclyn and Karl Glen, Wanda Powell and husband Raymond, their children Karen, Sandra and Kimberly; Jackie Creek and children Stephanie, Deren and Brian; daughter-in-law Vera Mae Creek and children Debbie Daphan, one brother Andy Frank Wagner; two sisters Lola Belle Blaine, Roselle Fischler; 21 great grand children, 10 great-great grandchildren; a number of nieces and nephews and numerous relatives and good friends
She was preceded in death by her husband Clell Goron Creek, one son Ronnie Creek, two grandsons Ricky Creek and Randy Creek.
Oneita accepted Jesus as her Lord and Savior in early life. She loved to dig in the dirt planting flowers and vegetables. Oneita also loved to fish. She did all kinds of sewing and liked to make quilts. Best of all she was a great stay at home mother and tried to raise her children by the Golden Rule. She is known around Collins, Missouri as “Grannie Creek”.
