Dines, Monica Q. April 25, 1947 - March 1, 2018

Monica Quintinalla Dines was born April 25, 1947 in Agat, Guam. She was called home for her eternal rest on March 1, 2018. She was a beautiful, kind, dedicated and caring woman, sailor, wife, mother and grandma other who brought smiles to all those lucky enough to know her.

She is a woman who spent her life in the service of others, service to her country, her family, her friends and most importantly she dedicated her life to serve the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. These were the most precious things in her world and she treasured every moment that she had to spend with them.

Monica grew up in Agat Guam which is where she first learned from her mother how to serve and praise God. After growing up and graduating from school she hear the calling to not only serve God but to serve her nation as well. In January 1967 she enlisted in the United States Navy as a Hospital Corpsman. After boot camp and corps school she was stationed at the Naval Hospital in Philadelphia, PA. While working in the Emergency Room in November 1968 she met another young hospital corpsman who turned out to be the Love of her life. After a year long courtship they were married in November of 1969. Upon completing her military service in October of 1970 she joined her husband and continued their lives serving our nation for another 18 years. Once Davids military career came to an end they moved to Osceola, Missouri to raise their family to love God, family and others.

She is being welcomed in Heaven by her mother Rita Babauta and father Francisco Babauta; brothers Jesus, Jose, and John Babauta; sister Irene Arceo; mother-in-law Alice Larsen and father-in-law Ralph Larsen.

Monica is survived by her husband of 48 years David Dines as well as her sons David and wife Melanie, John and wife Rebecca; grandsons David Jr. and Ethan Dines; granddaughters Rowan and Charlotte Dines; brother Eloy Babauta and wife Mary; sisters Leonilla Quidachay and husband Juan, Mae Fernandez and husband John, Mary Jesus and husband Ben; brother-in-laws Jim Dines and Mike Larsen; sister-in-law Connie Coleman as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. She will truly be missed by all who k new and loved her
