Park, Roger Lee June 20, 1955 - February 21, 2018

Roger Lee Park was born in Osceola, Missouri on June 20, 1955. He passed away on February 21, 2018.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl David and Rowena (Weant) Park, his wife, Cynthia (Bell), his grandson, Wyatt Lane Coleman, his brother-in-law, Sean Sheldon, and his nephew, Jason Evans.

He is survived by his children, Lane and Vanessa Coleman, Mike and Stephanie Coleman, Amy and Adam Collins, and Danielle Park. His grandchildren; Shelby and Chase Binder, Kelina Coleman, Kassi Coleman, Kait Coleman, Braeden Collins, Greyson Collins, and Emoree Collins and one great granddaughter, Harper Binder. He is also survived by his Aunt Kay Dyer, brothers and sisters; Doug, Ron, Paula, Dana, Connie, Preston, Carson, Gina, Gail, and Lana. Brother-in-law Bobby and Sisters-in-law Donna and Karen. Nieces and Nephews; Rena, Micheal, Austin, Ronnie, Melissa, Angela, Bronson, Justin, Kyle, Landon, Brittany, Brendan, Blair, Kylie, Hayden, Lolly and Tegin, Beverly, Regina, Rob, Rodney, Kristi, and David.

Roger graduated from Roscoe Elementary School and attended Osceola High School. After school he logged trees for Milton Houk. He was united in marriage to Cindy in 1980. He enjoyed farming on his family’s farm and baling hay with his good friend Jerry Moore and grandson Braeden. He loved being outdoors hunting deer, turkey, coons, and mushrooms with his family and friends: Jon Fontana, Angelo, Carl, and other Mannino family members, and Big Ron. He also enjoyed fishing with his kids and his friend Earl McNeely. Roger looked forward to time spent with his friend, Zach Shafran. He loved his children, grandchildren, great granddaughter and nieces and nephews very much and he also loved his daughter Danielle’s friends Tabatha Davis, Tabetha Jones, Velinda Chavarria and her daughter Sophia Hayes, who he lovingly called his “Brown Sugar”. Despite many hardships in his life like catching his hand in a corn picker, losing his mother and wife in a tragic car accident on May 6, 1994, and beating Lymphoma, Roger was able to find happiness and always found a reason to smile and laugh. He found joy in the simple things in life like feeding his cattle, cutting wood, watching M*A*S*H, Gunsmoke, and Moonshiners, and his dogs, especially Susie, whom he leaves behind.
