Fishburn, Loretta Mae February 13, 1927 - September 7, 2015

Loretta Mae (High) Fishburn was born the oldest of three on February 13, 1927, to Ora Hugh and Neta LaVon (Swindell) High of Cheney, KS, and went to be with the Lord on Monday, September 7, 2015. After graduating high school in Peru, KS, and Beauty School in Wichita, KS, she met and married Floyd Fishburn on December 27, 1947. They began their life in Borger, TX, and then went to CO, KS, IL, KS, NE, AR to El Dorado Springs, MO where they retired in 1980. Loretta was a wife, mother, and homemaker. She enjoyed her family, traveling, camping and fishing, sitting by the water, her flowers and gardening, telling stories about family, cigarettes, coffee by the gallon, her rocking chair, and her husband. She was also a counselor to her children and their friends. Lorettas private confress room was the bathroom. She is survived by her husband of sixty-eight years, Floyd Francis Fishburn; sister Wanda Lee Urquhart and family of Wichita, KS; brother Kenneth Dale High and family of ToTare, CA; children Lynda LaVon Fishburn and significant other Joe Highfill of El Dorado Springs, MO, Lynn Lucille Fishburn Hulsart of El Dorado Springs, MO, Dale Wayne Fishburn of Stockton, MO, Laurie Lee Drilling and significant other Royce Rippy of Jerico Springs, MO; grandchildren Dustin Fishburn and family of Lebanon, MO, Nicole Fishburn Walters and family of Walker, MO, Shawn Fishburn and family of Stockton, MO, Melissa Fishburn of the home, Amber Fishburn US Navy Sasebo, Japan, Skyler Fishburn, Christopher Fishburn of the home, Stephen Demaree and family of Utah, Lonnie Davis and family of Colorado; fifteen great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
