Gillispie, Anna Fay January 9, 1921 - September 20, 2014

Anna Fay Gillispie, was born January 9, 1921 in Sapulpa, OK to Daniel Blane and Anna Bell (Nagils) Sweeney. She passed away September 20, 2014 at Northcare Hospice House, North Kansas City, MO. Anna was united in marriage to Lester M. Gillispie and to this union 5 children were born, Harold Ray, Sondra Lou, Beverly Joyce, Steven Lee and Leslie Ann. Her husband Lester and two daughters, Sondra Lou Harris and Beverly Joyce Reeves preceded her in death. Anna lived in Kansas City, MO for 34 years. After retiring she moved to Flemington where she made her home for 28 years. While there she loved to fish and crochet. Some of her favorite times were when the family would come and stay for a few days. She would be up bright and early cooking up a breakfast that could feed an army. She also looked forward to the yearly family reunions where she enjoyed the company. She truly loved being around family. Anna moved to Bolivar, MO for two years and then back to Kansas City, MO, where she spent her last 8 years. She is survived by her children, Harold Ray Gillispie, Steven Lee Gillispie and Leslie Ann Wilkerson, 13 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and 5 great great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
