Sylvia and Bill welcomed 2 daughters to their home, Pat (Patroske) Greathouse in 1955 and Rosetta (Greathouse) Stonebrook in 1963. As years went by they were blessed by 3 grandchildren, Tricia, Jamie and Ashley. Then came the great grands, Samantha and Cierra Cochran, Hunter Patroske and Gracie, Natalie and Jesse Gannaway.

She stayed home until Pat started school then worked in the school cafeteria a few years until she found her true calling and became a waitress at local restaurants. The longest being the Bus Station, where she worked over a span of 40 years. She came with the fixtures as new owners took over.
