Sharon Kay (Boin) Hawn age 78 years of rural El Dorado Springs passed away on November 6, 2024, peacefully at CMH hospital in Bolivar MO after a lengthy illness.

 

Sharon was born on August 20, 1946 to Leslie Boin and Bernice (Evans) Boin in Lee’s Summit Missouri. She graduated from Warrensburg High School in 1964 and went to work for Western Electric in Lee’s Summit. Sharon married Clifford Lee Hawn in 1965 and moved to El Dorado Springs. She spent several years as an administrative secretary until her retirement. She was saved at an early age and joined Prairie Lee Baptist Church.  At the time of her death, she was a member of Caplinger Mills Baptist Church. She enjoyed her church family and looked forward to each Sunday.

 

Sharon was preceded in death by her parents Leslie and Bernice Boin, two brothers, Bill and Wade and two sisters, Hazel and Betty.

 

She is survived by her husband Clifford of the home after 59 years of marriage and two sisters, Brenda and Beverly. She is also survived by her  son Conway and wife Heather of Licking, MO and their sons, Clifford and Christian and a daughter, Cheryl Thompson and her husband Kevin of Bolivar and their children Gavin, Gaige and Hannah.

Sharon loved her family and her grandchildren were the light of her life!

    Sharon will always be remembered as the kindest and most caring woman who was a Christian and a great friend to all who had the blessing of knowing her. I have many wonderful memories of time spent with Sharon and Cliff and their children, Cheryl and Conway. My sincere sympathy to Cliff, Cheryl, Conway and everyone who knew and loved her.
