Kenneth Dewitt Haynes, 90, of Belton, Missouri passed away on February 16, 2014. He was born in Walker, Missouri, on April 16, 1923.
Kenneth was employed by the MKT Railroad. He served in the 8th Armored Division in Europe. He returned to the MKT and stayed until he went to Hallmark and worked as head of machine maintenance until he retired in 1988.
Kenneth was a 50-year Mason and Shriner and was a member of the Belton Christian Church.
He was preceded in death by his wife Mildred B. Haynes of 70 years and brother Fred Haynes of Walker, Missouri.
Kenneth is survived by his son and daughter-in-law Randall and Annette Haynes of Belton; grandson and granddaughter Aaron and Kayla Haynes of Republic, MO; and brother Frank Haynes and his wife Fern of El Dorado Springs, MO. He also leaves a sister-in-law Ernestine Zaring of Wichita as well as nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and a great great nephew.
