Patricia Diane Hubbard was born in Kansas City, Missouri on August 10, 1956 to J.C. and Goldie (Todd) Hubbard. She passed away March 29, 2013 at the Appleton City Manor Nursing Home. Patty was united in marriage to James Collins on September 25, 2004 in Nevada, Missouri. Before coming back home to Missouri, Patty lived in Alpena, Arkansas. She worked for the Tyson Chicken plant and at an outdoor fruit and vegetable market. She loved being outdoors, whether it was hunting, fishing, camping, canoeing or working in the garden. Patty loved to can her produce from the garden. She was a great cook. Patty loved raising her own cattle, chickens and pigs too, especially the baby piggies as she would call them. At one time she even had a baby skunk. Patty was a great wife, sister, step-mother and step-grandmother. She was a really great aunt to many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Collins; her father and mother, J.C. and Goldie (Todd) Hubbard; 1 brother, Jimmy Hubbard and 1 sister, Carol Hubbard. Patty is survived by 2 sisters, Sharon Schlichtting and husband Steve of Taberville, Mo and Doris Turowski of Leeton, Mo.; 2 brothers, Ricky Hubbard and wife Carrie of Overbrook, Kansas and Gary Hubbard and wife Ellie of Osowatomie, Kansas; 2 step-daughters, Amber Johnson of Texaco, NM and Sabrina Collins of Clovis, NM; 1 step-son, Guyon Collins of Branson, Mo.; 2 step grandsons and 4 step-granddaughters along with many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews and several friends.
