John Eugene Koch, 63, of Springfield, Missouri passed away on April 30, 2026.
He was born on November 23, 1962 in Warrensburg, Missouri.
John was a truck driver for 35 years. Working for Dirty Trucking in Springfield, Missouri for the last two.
He was a Christian, and never knew a stranger. He never knew the word no, and he would help everyone. He called his mother twice a day, just to check on her.
John loved his kids and grandkids very much!
He is preceded in death by his dad, John F. Koch; stepdad, Jerry Tennill; brother Kevin Koch; uncles, Roy Boswell, Russell Boswell, and Ron Dickerson.
John is survived by his companion, Mary Dent of the home; mother, Vera Tennill, Arcola, Missouri; daughters, Alex (Tyler) Viles, Springfield, Missouri, Stephanie Russell, Lockwood, Missouri; son, John Dylon Koch, Springfield, Missouri; brother, Darrian Koch, Arcola, Missouri; stepbrother, Terry (Sue) Tennill, Independence, Missouri; stepsister, Denise Tennill, Independence, Missouri; seven grandchildren; Aunts, Juanita Pryor, Arcola, Missouri, Shirley Reedy, Lockwood, Missouri, June Struzick, Strausburg, Missouri, Phyllis Rogers, Belton, Missouri, Bunnie Riedel, Virginia, Debra Bohannon, Washington; uncles, Ed Day, Holden, Missouri, Rickey Day, Brazil; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
