Charles Leo Keller was born April 5, 1930, in Appleton City, Missouri to Orville and Newel Marie (Womble) Keller. He passed away on October 13, 2021, in Stockton, Missouri.
Leo was one of six children bot the the family. He was raised in and around Humansville, Missouri. In the early 1950’s he was stationed in California as a United States Marine. After he was honorably discharged, he returned to Missouri. In 1954 he married Reva Irene Bybee. To this union four sons were born: Dennis (Nella), Eddie (Terri), Larry (Jennifer) and Dale.
Leo worked in many different fields during his life before retiring from Witt Printing Company. He also farmed during these years.
At a young age he received a calling and in 1966 was ordained. Over the years he pastored several local Missionary Baptist Churches and was actively pastoring at Freedom Missionary Baptist Church until his health declined.
Leo had a strong conviction in the Gospel and the church. He had a constant desire to lead people to Christ.
He leaves behind his four sons and daughters-in-law, grandchildren Greg(Krystal), Erin (Jason), Jake, Kate (Cameron), Cody, Harley, Dalton (Katelyn), Kelea (David) and Brandon, several great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
