Morris, Edward O. September 9, 1923 - May 17, 2013

Edward (Buddy) O. Morris was born September 9, 1923 to Claude and Mary Morris in Lowry City, Missouri.  He passed away Friday, 17, 2013 at S. Joseph Medical Center, Kansas City, MO. After graduating from Lowry City High School in 1941, Buddy joined the Navy and served in WWII on the USS McCall in the South Pacific. Buddy made his living as a grocery store manager for Kroger and Milgram in the Kansas City area . He was preceded in death by his wife, of 53 years, Dorothy Jean Pulley Morris, his father Claude E. Morris,  his mother, Mary M. Morris, one brother, Claude E. Morris, Jr., three sisters, Mildred Jackson, Virginia Penny and Della Jenkins. Edward is survived by his seven children, Larry Morris and wife Carol of Independence, MO, Becky Williams and husband Bob of Belton, MO, Sharon Borgeson and husband Jim of Baldwin City, KS, Sheila Falke and husband Tim of Baldwin City, KS, Brenda Maddox and husband Steve of Springfield, MO, Kevin Morris and wife Marion of Lee’s Summit, MO, and Melissa Morris of Mesa, AZ.  He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
