Rebecca Sue Powell, 61 of Osceola, Missouri was born June 4, 1950 to Otis Cameron and Patricia Jane Meggison Cameron. She passed away on July 25, 2011 at the Truman Lake Manor Nursing Home in Lowry City, Missouri.
She was a graduate of Osceola High School in 1968. Rebecca married shortly after highschool and moved to Davenport, Iowa for 3 to 4 years and then moved to Ottawa, Kansas where she raised her son until 1988. She then moved back to Osceola, Missouri to help her mother and brother.
Some of her hobbies included crocheting, making blankets and giving them away. Rebecca gave away hundreds of blankets to Joplin, Missouri after the tornado along with several others in the area. She also loved reading and listening to books and spending time with family and friends.
She is survived by her son, Michael Powell and daughter-in-law Veronica Powell; 8 grandchildren, Christopher Freeman, Noah Powell Chelsey Freeman, Tiffany Smith, Jordan Powell, John Smith, Michaela Powell and Madison Powell; 2 brothers, Charles Cameron and Robert Cameron; 4 sisters, Rita Schmidt, Lue Ann Cameron, Cindy Harris and Shawna Bouse; Aunt and Uncle, Sandy and Bob Mason.
