Randall Lee Quessenberry “Colonel Elwood” Heres to the sunny slopes of long ago
Randy Quessenberry passed away Thursday Febuary 27, 2014 at his home in Collins, Missouri. Randy was born May 6, 1957 to Bill Quessenberry and Rosalee Mitchell and was raised in Hartville, Missouri. Randy married the love of his life Marsha Quessenberry, October 20, 1990, together they raised Earlene and Jason.
Randy is survived by his wife Marsha, daughter Earlene Pipes (Kevin), son Jason Garver (Julie), brothers Steve Quessenberry (Lisa), Billy Quessenberry (Cheryl), Lance Quessenberry (Darla), sisters Sandra Fowler (Mark), Leah Barnes (Michael), his step-mother Yvonne Quessenberrry. His pride and joy were his grandchildren Samantha, Scout, Laura, Kaylee, Kalvin, Jeff, Reilly, Zanna and great grandson Hunter. Nephew Deirk, nieces Tenea, Bethany, Keyler, Kaelyn, Aleigha, Cooper, Kendall, Keli Jo, and Kristin. He is preceded in death by his father Bill Quessenberry.
Randy worked many professions throughout his life, but he took much pride in being a tile setter and wood working. Randy was an avid Cardinals fan and shared this love of baseball with his grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Randy loved hard, and played hard and he will be greatly missed.
A memorial service will be held in his honor on March 22, 2014 at 2 pm at Randy and Marsha’s home in Collins Missouri. Please bring pictures and stories to share.
