Joan Kay Scheller was born on December 23, 1942 to Baldus Whitey and Gertrude Amanda Scheller in Omaha, Nebraska. Joan passed away on October 20, 2021 in Osceola, Missouri.
Joan married Richard E. Salmen in 1960 and raised 4 children; Robert Richard, James Raymond, Jeannie Lynne and Susan Marie.
She was preceded in death by her parents, great grandparents; Peter P. and Edith E. (Ripley) Kissel as well as her daughter Susan Marie Singleton of Kansas City, Missouri.
Joan is survived by her other 3 children, 10 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and an adopted daughter and son-in-law Corva and Brian Hamel.
Her spreading of ashes will be in Batesville, AR on November 13, 2021 at 2:00 PM.
