Gerald Lee Sellers was born September 14, 1928 in a little farm house in Holt, Missouri to Walter Sellers and Bessie (Sheets) Sellers. He passed away at his home near Osceola, Missouri September 25, 2016.
At the age of 12, Gerald accepted Jesus Christ as his Savior. He went to school in Holt, Missouri and learned to be a farmer and raise tobacco. He was married to Margaret Bozarth on May 20, 1950. Gerald joined the United States Air Force during the Korean War. His whole life his passion was airplanes. After his tour he came back to Holt and built a house. Gerald worked for TWA and sold real estate. He and Margaret raised two children Tim and Nancy.
After retirement Gerald moved to Colorado for 24 years. The best years of his life were spent in God’s country. Health reasons brought him back to Missouri near Hannibal. He was fishing on a river where God told him Heaven will be better than catching the biggest fish. He made one final move to his home near Osceola. He was a member of the Lowry City Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife Margaret Sellers; 1 son, Tim Sellers and wife Debbie; 1 daughter, Nancy Martin and husband Dan; 2 grandchildren, Kevin Cox and wife Joanna and Lenea Smith; 3 great-grandchildren, Dylon Cox, Jillion Cox, Kyla Smith-Chandler; 2 sisters Carolynn Boyles, Patty Marcomb and husband Bill, other relatives and many friends.
