Una Cleo Sims, 97, Appleton City, Missouri was born December 1, 1913 near Osceola, Missouri to Edward Weaver and Laura Leona (Cleveland) Bourland. She passed away on December 22, 2010 at the Appleton City Manor in Appleton City, Missouri.
Her early life was spent in the Osceola, Missouri area. She was saved at an early age at a Church of God (Holiness) and remained a devoted Christian her entire life.
In the mid-thirties she was united in marriage to Russell James “Rusty” Sims. Their entire married life was spent west of Osceola. Rusty preceded her in death in 1979.
One of thirteen children she was preceded in death by eleven of her siblings, two in infancy and brothers Grover Bourland, Willie Bourland, Forrest Bourland, Horace Bourland and Hardin Bourland; sisters, Myrtle and Audrey Powell, Ruth Burrow and Martha Alice Wright.
She is survived by one sister, Mrs. Leona Jamison, Osceola, MO, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
