Richard F. Sunderwirth was born July 6, 1938 to Roy F. and Zeda (Rains) Sunderwirth in Appleton City, Missouri. He was promoted to glory on March 2, 2017 from Truman Lake Manor in Lowry City, Missouri.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Neta Ruth (Combs), two daughters and sons-in-law, Laneta and Rick Watts of Cozahome, Arkansas and Tina and J.R. Leiber of Osceola, Missouri, two grandchildren, Rylee and Kurtis Kneller of Appleton City, Missouri and Race Leiber of Osceola, Missouri. He is also survived by his sister, Gail Ingle of Osceola, Missouri and brother Jim and Dianne Sunderwirth of Port St. Lucie, Florida as well as a host of beloved nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother and father, son Richard Wayne Sunderwirth and grandson Richard D. (Scoop) Sunderwirth.
We could go on all afternoon about the accomplishments if this author, musician, entrepreneur, volunteer worker, traveler, husband, father, grandfather, brother, friend but we know he would be quick to direct any accolades to the One who have him his gifts and talents and love for his people, to his Lord Jesus Christ.
