Howard Wesley Veach was born May 26, 1944 in Osceola, Missouri, the youngest son of Ben Ej. And Sarah R. Veach. Howard passed away August 3, 2015 at the age of 71 at his lake home in Warsaw, Missouri with his wife at his side. He attended school at Chalk Level and Osceola. Howard served honorably for 2 years in the United States Army and is a Vietnam War Veteran from 1968 to 1970.
On June 27, 1970 Howard was united in marriage to Mildred Hall of Clinton, Missouri. To this union one child was born, Clinton Mathew Veach. They resided in Clinton, Missouri until they built a new home on part of the family farm west of Osceola in 1976. In 2013 they moved to their lake home outside of Warsaw, Missouri on the Lake of the Ozarks. Due to his health Howard retired in 2000 after a 30 year career from Clearfield Cheese and Schreiber Foods Inc. in Clinton, Missouri. Howard accepted Christ as his savior and was baptized on August 1, 2004. Since his retirement, Howard has spent most of his time on his boat dock at the Lake of the Ozarks or on his pontoon boat fishing or running his fishing jug lines. He also enjoyed working on his new John Deere tractor.
Howard was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Jesse and John Veach of Osceola, Missouri; sister, Audrey Warden and brother-in-law Bob Warden of California.
He is survived by his wife, Millie, of the home; his son, Clint of Osceola; brother, Roy Veach of Osceola, brother and sister-in-law Lester and Mary Veach of Richmond, Missouri; sister and brother-in-law John and Mary Winfield of Lee’s Summit, Missouri and many nieces and great nieces, nephews and great nephews along with many, many friends.
