Florence Christine Walker, age 82, of Clawson, Michigan passed away on Sunday, January 3, 2016. She was living in El Dorado Springs for the last five years. She was born to the late Casmier Bozek and Stella Leah (Staniford) Bozek on May 3, 1933.
Florence graduated from Hazel Park High School in Hazel Park, Michigan. She was an active member of her church choir as a young adult and served as an officer and board member of the doll clubs in the Detroit area.
Family and dolls were Florence’s passion and delight. She enjoyed traveling with her late husband, Clarence Walker, and attending doll shows throughout the Midwest. She had an immense passion of caring for her children and great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Clarence and sons, William and Gary.
Florence is survived by her daughters-in-law, Sandra Hocking of Rapid City, South Dakota, and Kelli (Scott) Telkamp, El Dorado Springs, Missouri; son, Thomas (Lestel) Hocking, Blythe, California; and grandchildren Crystal, Cassandra, Danielle, Sandra, Timothy, John, Terry, and William. She also leaves behind numerous great grandchildren.
