Walker, Helen Victoria February 12, 1918 - June 30, 2014

Helen Victoria Walker was born January 12, 1918 in Galena, Missouri to Joshua Joseph and Peggy Ann (Bilyeu) Jenkins. She passed away June 30, 2014 at Bothwell Hospital, Sedalia, Missouri. In September 1935 in Reeds Spring, Missouri, Helen was united in marriage to Willard Walker. They moved to Osceola, Missouri where they raised eight children. Helen was a loving mother and homemaker. She enjoyed canning, gardening, quilting and raising her children. Helen was a long time member of the RLDS Church. Helen was preceded in death by her husband Willard on January 30, 1978. She was also preceded in death by her parents Josh and Peggy Jenkins, sons, Earl and William and daughters, Edna and Darlene; sons in-law, Jerry Carmack, and U. L. Lewis, daughter in-law, Faye Walker, and four grandchildren. She is survived by sons, John Walker and wife Becky, Lowry City, Missouri, Joe Walker and wife Mae, Osceola, Missouri, daughters, Sharon Carmack, Warsaw, Missouri and Dorothy Manns and husband, Fred, Independence, Missouri. Helen is also survived by daughter in-law, Shirley Walker of Colorado, 22 grandchildren, several great grandchildren and numerous great-great grandchildren, other relatives and many friends.
