Alden L. Keith, 78, El Dorado Springs, died Saturday, October 8, 2011 at the El Dorado Springs Hospital. He was born to Herman Fredrick and Edna Nora (Draelants) Keith on January 16, 1933 in Caplinger Mills. He was united in marriage to Alma Lee Eslinger on June 12, 1951 and to this union four children were born.
After Alden and Alma were married they moved to Kansas City, Kansas where he worked for Ford dealerships and was a mechanic all his adult life. A few years after having a serious job accident that prevented him from going back to work, he made the decision to move back to El Dorado Springs where he lived out the rest of his life. Alden loved helping others, if anyone needed help working on a vehicle he was always there. He loved his motorcycles, camping, fishing, hunting, and watching old western movies on TV.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Herman and Edna Keith; one son, Leslie Allen Keith; three brothers, Hershel Wayne, Herman Eugene, Warren Glenn, and one sister Wanda Ruth Sims.
Alden leaves behind his loving wife, Alma Lee, of the home; two daughters, Deloris Jean Keith, Kansas City, KS and Teresa Ann Coale, El Dorado Springs, MO; one son, James Dale Keith, Kansas City, MO; six grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, friends and family. Alden will be sadly missed by everyone that knew him.
