Morlan, Ardath Marian June 15, 1920 - September 24, 2013

Ardath Marian Morlan, age 93, was born June 15, 1920 to Edward and Leattie York McWilliams in Filley, Missouri. She passed away Tuesday, September 24, 2013 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Ardath graduated from El Dorado Springs High School in 1937 and then attended a business school in Kansas City. She married Alfred “Frog” Morlan on March 23, 1940 and to this union two sons were born. After marriage they operated Morlans Service Station and built the El Dorado Motel in 1958. In later years Ardath worked at Witt Printing Co. She is survived by two sons, Ed and wife, Sherry, of El Dorado Springs, Missouri and Kent and wife, Teri, of Tulsa, Oklahoma; two grandsons, York Morlan of Peculiar, Missouri, and Tad Morlan of Springfield, Missouri; 2 great grandsons, Jacob and Caleb Morlan of Springfield, Missouri and one great granddaughter, Lauren Hurlburt of Springfield, Missouri.
