Vaughn, Jr, Clark “Dude” R August 20, 1936 - October 31, 2015

Clark R. Vaughn Jr. “Dude” was born September 20th, 1936 to Clark Sr. and Florence Vaughn in Osage, Wyoming. He passed away October 31, 2015 at the Truman Lake Manor Nursing Home in Lowry City, Missouri.

At a young age, Clark and his family moved to South Dakota which is where he grew up and later they moved to Missouri.  He met Hazel Hyke and they married on August 13th, 1960.  They went on to have three sons, Marty Vaughn, Bobby Vaughn and Frankie Joe Vaughn of Osceola, MO.  If you ask around you will find out that not many know Clark by his real name, but instead by his nickname that he has had since he was a child, Dude.  Over the years he did a variety of things, from roofing and bridge building to being a cowboy.  He had a strong passion and loved to work with horses. In his later years, Dude enjoyed spending time working his cattle, working around the farm, and giving people a hard time at the wood yard. Dude was always up to something and just plain ornery!

Preceded in death by Father Clark Sr. Vaughn and Mother Florence Vaughn; Wife Hazel Vaughn; Son Frankie Joe Vaughn and Brother, Frank Vaughn
