Perry Neal Witt was born September 2, 1956 in Sacramento, California to Donald G. and Shirley (Roberts) Witt. He passed away August 15, 2015 in Polk County, Missouri.
Perry spent his early years in California, moving to Clinton, Missouri with his family when he was 15 years old. He graduated from Clinton High School.
Perry trained as a stone mason under his dad while still in High School. He continued as a journeyman mason for years. He also owned and operated Witt’s End Chimney Sweep Company.
He was a motorcycle enthusiast and mechanic for his entire adult life, owning and operating Rebel Cycle in Clinton, Missouri for four years.
Perry was preceded in death by his father, Donald Witt, and stepfathers, Dick Baxter, Jim Van Alstin, Bill Myer.
He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Julie of the home; daughter, Melissa Witt of Kansas City, KS, sons, Steve Mangum, Springfield, MO, Jess Witt (Cassie) of N. Hollywood, CA, Donald Witt (fiancé’ Season Miller) of Rockville, Missouri; mother, Shirley Myer, sister Sally Clark (Greg), grandchildren, Xander, Serenity and Eden, nieces, Dr. Jennifer Blair (Scott) and Casey Cope (Brandon), other relatives and many friends.
